Fire Ban in effect as of July 16, 2026

The Coastal Fire Centre has indicated there will be an imposed Fire Ban of all Category 1 (Campfires), Category 2 & 3 (Open Fires) effective, Thursday, July 16, 2026 at 12:00 pm (noon). These measures are being taken to reduce the risk of human-caused wildfires associated with open burning activities. This prohibition will remain in place until October 31, 2026, or until it is rescinded. Anyone who spots a wildfire is asked to immediately call the BC Wildfire Service at 1.800.663.5555 or *5555 on a cell phone. #inittogether

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic Pachena Bay Campground Management and staff are currently working on our opening plan for the 2021 camping season.  The health and safety of our neighboring community of Anacla is our top priority!
